Travel General Laborer – Nights
SPAR is expanding our overnight construction team and is currently seeking reliable, hard-working full-time laborers. The position requires travel for extended periods and working night shifts from 9 PM to 6 AM. Candidates must be eager to learn and possess basic proficiency with tools. As part of a traveling team, you will be responsible for executing tasks inside home improvement retail chains, including constructing and handling heavy steel and pallet racking.

What You’ll Do:
- Engage in physically demanding construction work
- Undertake overnight remodeling projects in large retail stores
- Remove and replace damaged steel racking, including cantilever towers
- Relocate products from old to new pallet racking
- Construct and assemble retail store shelving fixtures
- Update signage, assess shelf conditions, and complete schematics
- Participate in substantial physical activity, with the ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and work overnight from 9 PM to 6 AM
- Willingness to take direction on tagging, rotating, and shelving products
- Comfort with climbing ladders and working at heights up to 20 feet
- Capability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly
- Experience with basic hand and power tools (must provide personal hardhat, gloves, utility knife, and power tools)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Fundamental knowledge of tools necessary for the role
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Requirement for a personal cell phone and a valid email address
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Compliance with appropriate footwear standards on the job site
