Travel General Laborer – Nights – $18

SPAR is expanding its overnight construction team and seeking dedicated, reliable full-time laborers. Candidates must be willing to travel for extended periods and work night shifts from 9 PM to 6 AM. A willingness to learn and familiarity with basic tools are essential. The traveling team will focus on working within major home improvement retail chains, handling the assembly of heavy steel and pallet racking. Participation in the Racking Team is a prerequisite for advancement to the Senior Lead position.

What You’ll Do:

• Engage in physically demanding construction work overnight, remodeling large retail stores
• Remove and replace damaged steel racking, including cantilever towers
• Transfer products from old to new pallet racking
• Construct and assemble retail store shelving fixtures
• Update signage, shelf conditions, and complete schematics
• Perform considerable physical activity, including lifting and carrying loads up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

• Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and work overnight shifts from 9 PM to 6 AM
• Capacity to follow direction regarding tagging, rotating, and placing products on shelves
• Comfort and safety in climbing ladders and working at heights of 20 feet as required
• Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs.
• Experience in using basic hand and power tools (candidates must provide their own hardhat, gloves, utility knife, and power tools)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Proficient knowledge of basic tools required for the job
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• A personal cell phone and valid email address are required
• A professional appearance and demeanor
• Proper work footwear must be worn on the job site
