Job description:

Travel Remodel Merchandiser – Night Shift: $18 – $19 per hour

SPAR is expanding its overnight reset and remodel team! As a member of our full-time racking team composed of Reset Construction professionals, you will play a crucial role in remodeling the interiors of home improvement retail stores. This position requires working overnight from 9 PM to 6 AM, where you will be responsible for building heavy steel racking, pallet racking, and assembling and installing shelving and fixtures.

Candidates with a background in construction, resets or remodels, fixture installation, racking, or general labor will find this opportunity well-suited to their skills. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, possesses a strong work ethic, is adept with tools, and is committed to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do:

  • Remodel large retail stores during overnight shifts
  • Remove and replace damaged steel racking, including cantilever towers
  • Transfer products from old to new pallet racking
  • Build and assemble retail store shelving fixtures
  • Adhere to Plan-O-Grams for all items approved by store management
  • Update signage, shelf conditions, and schematics as necessary
  • Engage in demanding physical activity, with the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours during overnight shifts (9 PM – 6 AM)
  • Capability to follow directions regarding tagging, rotating, and positioning products on shelves
  • Comfort in climbing ladders and working at heights of 20 feet when required
  • Repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficiency in using basic hand and power tools (applicants must provide their own hardhat, gloves, utility knife, and power tools)
  • Experience with Planograms is preferred
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Familiarity with basic tools essential for the position
