Travel Remodel Merchandiser – Nights
Compensation: $18 to $19 per hour
SPAR is expanding our overnight reset and remodel team, offering an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to join our full-time racking team of Reset Construction professionals. As a member of this traveling team, you will engage in the strategic remodeling of home improvement retail chains during overnight shifts from 9 PM to 6 AM. Your responsibilities will include constructing heavy steel racking and pallet racking, in addition to assembling and installing shelving and fixtures.
We seek candidates with experience in construction, resets, remodels, or general labor who are self-sufficient, highly motivated, and proficient with tools. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to producing high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. Moreover, becoming a Racking Team Member is the first step toward advancement to the Senior Project Manager position.

What You’ll Do:
– Execute overnight remodeling projects for big box retail stores
– Remove and replace damaged steel racking, including cantilever towers
– Transition products from old to new pallet racking
– Build and assemble retail store shelving fixtures
– Collaborate with Plan-O-Grams for item tagging and placement as approved by store management
– Update signage, shelf conditions, and complete schematics
– Engage in physically demanding tasks, including the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Qualifications:
– Capacity to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and work overnight shifts from 9 PM to 6 AM
– Skill in following directions for tagging, rotating, and positioning products on shelves
– Comfort with climbing ladders and working at heights of up to 20 feet as required
– Proven ability to repeatedly lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs
– Experience with basic hand and power tools (personal hard hat, gloves, utility knife, and power tools required)
– Preferred experience with Planograms
– Strong teamwork and communication skills
– Proficient in using basic tools necessary for the job
– Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
– Personal cell phone and valid email address required
– Professional appearance and demeanor
– Appropriate work footwear must be worn on the job site
