Job description:
Travel Remodel Merchandiser Night Shift – $18 to $19 per hour

SPAR is expanding our overnight reset and remodel team! As a full-time member of our traveling racking team, you will have the opportunity to participate in the remodeling efforts within home improvement retail chains. Working from 9PM to 6AM, your responsibilities will include constructing heavy steel and pallet racking, as well as assembling and installing shelving and fixtures. This role is ideally suited for individuals with a background in construction, resets, remodel projects, fixture installation, or general labor. The ideal candidate is self-sufficient, highly motivated, familiar with tool usage, and driven to deliver high-quality results in a dynamic environment.

What You Will Do:
– Engage in overnight remodeling of big box retail stores
– Remove and replace damaged steel racking, including cantilever towers
– Relocate products from old to new pallet racking
– Construct and assemble retail store shelving fixtures
– Collaborate with store management on Plan-O-Grams for tagged and approved items
– Update signage, shelf conditions, and ensure completion of schematics
– Perform significant physical activities, including the ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:
– Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and work overnight from 9PM to 6AM
– Capability to follow directives on tagging, rotating, and placing products on shelves
– Comfort with climbing ladders and working at heights of up to 20 feet as required
– Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
– Experience with basic hand and power tools (candidates must provide their own hardhat, gloves, utility knife, and power tools)
– Preferred experience with planograms
– Strong teamwork and communication skills
– Proficient in using essential tools relevant to the job
– Ability to operate effectively in a team-oriented environment
– Must possess reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
– Personal cell phone and valid email address are required

– Appropriate work footwear must be worn at the job site
