Travel Remodel Merchandiser (Nights) – $18 to $19
SPAR is expanding our overnight reset and remodel team! As a full-time member of this dedicated team of Reset Construction professionals, you will have the opportunity to travel and participate in the remodeling of home improvement retail chains. This position requires working overnight from 9 PM to 6 AM, where you will be building heavy steel racking, pallet racking, and assembling and installing shelving and fixtures. Candidates with construction, reset, or remodel experience, as well as those skilled in fixture installation, general labor, or racking, will find this role to be an excellent fit. The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, highly motivated, adept with tools, and committed to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do:
– Remodel big box retail stores during overnight hours
– Safely remove and replace damaged steel racking, including cantilever towers
– Relocate products from old pallet racks to new ones
– Construct and assemble retail store shelving fixtures
– Collaborate with Plan-O-Grams, ensuring all items are tagged and approved by store management
– Update signage, shelf conditions, and complete schematics
– Engage in significant physical activity, with the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
– Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and work overnight from 9 PM to 6 AM
– Capable of following directions for tagging, rotating, and placing products on shelves
– Comfortable with climbing ladders and working at heights, up to 20 feet when necessary
– Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs.
– Experience using basic hand and power tools (candidates must provide their own hard hat, gloves, utility knife, and power tools)
– Preferred experience with Planograms
– Strong teamwork and communication skills
– Proficiency with basic tools necessary for the job
– Experience working in a team-oriented environment
– Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
– Personal cell phone and valid email address required
– Professional appearance and demeanor expected
– Appropriate work footwear is mandatory at job sites
