Travel Remodel Merchandiser – Night Shift – $18 to $19 per hour
SPAR is expanding its overnight reset and remodel team! By becoming a member of this full-time racking team, you will participate in transforming the interiors of home improvement retail chains. Your work schedule will be from 9 PM to 6 AM, where you will be responsible for constructing heavy steel racking and pallet racking, as well as assembling and installing shelving and fixtures. Candidates with experience in construction, resets, remodels, fixture installation, racking, or general labor will find this role to be an excellent match for their skills. The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, highly motivated, proficient with tools, and committed to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do:
– Remodel large retail stores during overnight shifts
– Remove and replace damaged steel racking, including cantilever towers
– Relocate products from old pallet racking to new setups
– Construct and assemble retail shelving fixtures
– Collaborate with Plan-O-Grams for item placement as approved by store management
– Update signage, shelf conditions, and complete schematics
– Engage in significant physical activity, including lifting and carrying items up to 50 lbs
Qualifications:
– Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours while working overnight (9 PM – 6 AM)
– Capacity to follow directions for product tagging, rotation, and placement on shelves
– Comfort with climbing ladders and performing work at heights of 20 feet as required
– Repeatedly able to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs
– Proficient in using basic hand and power tools (candidates must provide their own hard hat, gloves, utility knife, and power tools)
– Preferred experience with Planograms
– Strong teamwork and communication skills
– Knowledge of and ability to utilize basic tools necessary for the job
– Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required
– Personal cell phone and valid email address are necessary
– Professional appearance and demeanor are expected
– Appropriate work footwear is mandatory on the job site
