Travel Remodel Merchandiser (Nights) – $18 to $19 per hour

SPAR is expanding its overnight reset and remodel team! Join our full-time group of Reset Construction professionals, where you will be an integral part of a traveling team tasked with remodeling various home improvement retail chains. This position involves working overnight shifts from 9 PM to 6 AM, focusing on building heavy steel racking, pallet racking, and assembling and installing shelving and fixtures. We invite individuals with a background in construction, resets, remodels, fixture installation, or general labor to explore this opportunity. The ideal candidate is self-sufficient, highly motivated, proficient with tools, and driven to achieve high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
– Execute overnight remodels in big box retail stores
– Remove and replace damaged steel racking, including cantilever towers
– Transfer products from old to new pallet racking
– Construct and assemble retail store shelving fixtures
– Adhere to Plan-O-Grams for all items as tagged and approved by store management
– Update signage, shelf conditions, and complete schematics
– Engage in significant physical activity, with the ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:
– Capability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and work overnight from 9 PM to 6 AM
– Ability to follow directions for tagging, rotating, and placing products on shelves
– Comfort with climbing ladders and working at heights of 20 feet as required
– Proficient in lifting up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
– Experience using basic hand and power tools (candidates must provide their own hardhat, gloves, utility knife, and power tools)
– Preferred experience with Planograms
– Strong teamwork and communication skills
– Knowledge and capability to utilize basic tools essential for the job
– Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
– Personal cell phone and valid email address required
– Professional appearance and demeanor
– Appropriate work footwear is mandatory on the job site
