Job description:
Travel Remodel Merchandiser – Nights: $18 to $19 per hour

SPAR is expanding our overnight reset and remodel team! By joining this full-time group of Reset Construction professionals, you will be part of a traveling team dedicated to remodeling the interiors of home improvement retail chains. The position requires working overnight shifts from 9 PM to 6 AM, focusing on building heavy steel racking, pallet racking, and assembling and installing shelving and fixtures. Candidates with backgrounds in construction, resets or remodels, fixture installation, racking, or general labor are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate is self-sufficient, highly motivated, skilled with tools, and committed to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
– Conduct overnight remodeling of big-box retail stores
– Remove and replace damaged steel racking, including cantilever towers
– Transfer products from old to new pallet racking
– Build and assemble retail store shelving fixtures
– Implement Plan-O-Grams for all items tagged and approved by store management
– Update signage, shelf conditions, and ensure schematics are completed
– Engage in substantial physical activity, with the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:
– Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and work overnight shifts (9 PM – 6 AM)
– Following directions related to tagging, rotating, and placing products on shelves
– Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights of 20 feet as necessary
– Capability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs.
– Experience with basic hand and power tools (candidates must provide their own hard hat, gloves, utility knife, and power tools)
– Planogram experience (preferred)
– Strong teamwork and communication skills
– Proficient in using essential tools required for the job
– Ability to thrive in a team environment
– Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
– Personal cell phone and valid email address required
– Professional appearance and demeanor
– Appropriate work footwear must be worn on the job site
