Immediately hiring a dedicated SOLO Class A CDL Driver in Dayton, OH. We are seeking the right individual to join our team at Ryder.

As a Ryder driver, you can expect to earn $1,700 or more weekly, along with additional benefits:

– Weekly pay with a guaranteed minimum of $1,700 per week
– Hourly pay rate of $34.00
– A workload of 40 or more hours per week
– Per diem of $35.00 per night
– Overnight accommodations in Ryder-booked hotels for routes
– A tenure bonus of $300, awarded four times a year (every quarter)

– Flexible scheduling, typically Monday – Friday or Sunday – Thursday

In this role, you will:

– Deliver primarily to OH, IN, MI, PA, IL, WI, and MO (Midwestern and Eastern states)
– Operate a day cab tractor with occasional use of a box truck
– Be proficient in manual transmission operation
– Handle a flatbed trailer (48′ – 53’)
– Have a minimum of 3-6 months experience with flatbed operations
– Be engaged in freight load securement and driver assistance for steel and metal cargo (no coils), including strapping and tarping

Our fleet consists of trucks that are 36 months or newer, equipped with 24/7 roadside maintenance. Company drivers are welcome to fuel at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide.

Requirements:

– Minimum age of 21
– Successful completion of a Ryder drug test
– Passing a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last three years
– Passing a DOT physical and Ryder road test
– Valid Class A CDL with the necessary endorsements
– Verifiable experience:
– 9 months within the past 3 years, or
– 2 years within the past 5 years, or
– 5 years within the past 10 years
– Ability to follow written and oral instructions
– Capable of reading, interpreting, and applying laws, regulations, and policies
