Job Description
Job Title: Truck Driver – Class A (Nights)
Company: Performance Food Group
Location: Ypsilanti, MI
Pay: $27 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: As of 2023, an hourly rate of $27 for a Class A Truck Driver working nights in Ypsilanti, MI, is generally considered competitive but may vary depending on factors such as experience, specific employer, and local demand. The national average for Class A truck drivers typically ranges from $25 to $35 per hour, with night shifts often receiving slightly higher pay due to the less desirable hours. In Michigan, specifically, wages may lean towards the lower-middle range of this spectrum due to regional economic factors. Therefore, while $27 is a reasonable starting point, it may not reflect the highest potential earnings for experienced drivers, especially in a market influenced by truck driver shortages.
