Job Overview
The Manager of Mobile Showrooms will provide daily operational oversight and leadership for T-Mobile’s Mobile Showrooms employees. By fostering a strong customer focus, this role will establish a loyal customer base and act as a Brand Ambassador within the community for T-Mobile’s mobile showroom locations and events. The Manager will oversee the event marketing process, which includes strategic planning, creative development, execution, measurement, and communication, ensuring alignment with T-Mobile’s brand, business, and communication objectives. This role is also responsible for building relationships with local organizations and businesses to drive store traffic and will work cross-functionally with various internal departments, event properties, agencies, and senior leadership.
Job Responsibilities

Event Management, Brand Ambassador, Logistics, Planning:
Manage and execute Mobile Showroom events from inception to completion, establishing metrics to measure success and ensure alignment with broader program strategy and objectives. Lead mobile showroom employees to deliver an exceptional customer experience, fostering an energized atmosphere that prioritizes customer satisfaction across all sales and service transactions. -
Partner Event Management:
Oversee onsite management for branded retail partner locations, focusing on logistics, planning, and training. Collaborate with store leadership to set event goals and objectives, providing coaching to deliver premier customer service alongside sales representatives and managers. -
Mobile Showroom Program Management:
Collaborate with corporate, field, local, and retail marketing teams to take ownership of the program’s planning, implementation, execution, and reporting, ensuring timeliness and brand consistency. Customize events to leverage the unique opportunities presented by the Mobile Showroom program, maximizing impact through collaboration with Corporate Marketing, OEMs, regional stores, and local marketing teams. -
Community Outreach & Support:
Actively engage with the local community to network and promote the mobile showroom and the T-Mobile brand through relationships, referrals, and events. Identify community needs where T-Mobile can provide positive impact and design plans to address these opportunities. - Management Responsibilities:
Oversee talent management including recruiting, hiring, and the formulation of store schedules. Provide performance feedback either directly or through the Associate Manager. Cultivate team pride and celebrate successes to motivate store teams. Provide coaching and development opportunities that align with team members’ interests and career aspirations.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Work Experience:
- 2-4 years of retail management experience in a high-volume environment (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven retail store management experience in a high-volume setting
- Expertise in event management, ensuring comprehensive execution from concept through the post-event phase
- Ability to enhance customer engagement and service capabilities
- Passion, integrity, and energy to cultivate a dynamic work environment that facilitates a world-class shopping experience
- Critical thinking and composure in high-pressure situations
- Experience in cross-functional relationships with various support teams or corporate departments (HR, Operations, Training, Marketing)
- In-depth knowledge of retail systems and procedures
