Job description:
The US Security Operations Manager will be charged with the development and implementation of regional physical security policies, programs, and best practices. This includes establishing business processes, devising security technology solutions, and defining key performance indicators aimed at proactively identifying and mitigating physical security risks to personnel, property, and products. The role will also support various critical safety and security initiatives, including investigations, intelligence gathering, travel safety, and security protocols.

Key responsibilities encompass:

– Collaborating with the global security management team to formulate and implement security strategies and organizational frameworks, including the development of policies, procedures, business processes, and technology standards in alignment with the Global Security Strategy.
– Crafting and managing physical security programs that support the organization’s objectives, such as risk management, security technology systems (including video surveillance, alarms, access controls), guard operations, and event security.
– Partnering with internal stakeholders, including Global Workplace Services (GWS) and IT, to accurately assess and address business needs related to security.
– Documenting the scope of work, negotiating service level agreements, and setting key performance indicators with security service providers as necessary.
– Coordinating with external vendors and suppliers to fulfill security project requirements.
– Supporting project implementations by designing and commissioning technical recommendations and collaborating with Global Security, local GWS leads, security vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
– Managing major security incidents, applying lessons learned to enhance security processes and responses continually.
– Conducting risk evaluations and proposing alternative security strategies and technologies to continually improve the security program.
– Monitoring industry trends, practices, and innovations to enhance the global security program’s efficacy and efficiency.
– Ensuring compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, laws, and industry regulations regarding physical security.
– Upholding adherence to service level agreements and guiding process improvements aimed at achieving operational excellence.
– Undertaking additional security and safety-related tasks as directed by the security management team.

Minimum qualifications for this position include:

– A Bachelor’s degree or more than 10 years of experience in security management.
– ASIS certifications are preferred, though not mandatory.
– Expertise in emergency/disaster management, physical security, critical incident stress management, risk management, and business resiliency, alongside familiarity with emergency procedure protocols and regulatory compliance.
– Proven ability to apply logical reasoning and problem-solving techniques.
– Experience in a corporate or institutional security/safety role, including the development of security protocols and procedures.
– Familiarity with security technologies, such as CCTV, Access Control, and Incident Management Systems.
– A demonstrated history of effectively managing security operations and personnel while implementing customer-oriented security programs.

The salary range for this role is between $78,500.00 and $133,500.00 annually.
