Position Summary
In this role, you will lead and develop teams effectively by training, actively listening to associates, and providing constructive feedback through store tours. You will communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, business initiatives, merchandising, and strategic company directives. Your responsibilities will include introducing and overseeing company change efforts, setting clear expectations, and guiding teams in implementing business solutions while effectively communicating objectives.

You will exemplify and cultivate exceptional customer service standards among store associates by adhering to the One Best Way (OBW) service model. You will manage customer service initiatives, including community outreach programs, to ensure that customer needs, complaints, and issues are addressed effectively. Additionally, you will develop and implement action plans for improvement and lead process enhancements to ensure a superior customer experience.

To drive the financial performance and sales within your designated store area, you will analyze Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, manage budgeting, forecasting, and expense control to align with sales goals. You will also oversee merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes, as well as devise action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit targets.

Supervision and development of hourly associates will be a key part of your role, which includes hiring, training, mentoring, assigning responsibilities, and providing recognition. Ensuring diversity and inclusion will be a priority as you recruit and develop qualified associates to fulfill staffing needs and facilitate company growth.

You will coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities by fostering relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, and communicating clear goals and objectives. Minimum Qualifications
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess either two years of college education, one year of retail experience coupled with one year of supervisory experience, or two years of general work experience along with one year of supervisory experience. For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training will be required. Additionally, associates will need to fulfill all job-required trainings and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through the Live Better U program and Bellevue University, as well as a Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership from the same institutions. General work experience supervising five or more direct reports, including responsibilities such as performance management, mentoring, hiring, and termination, is also desirable.

The annual salary for this role ranges from $65,000.00 to $80,000.00, plus differential payments as applicable to meet legislative requirements. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses and may vary based on location, sales volume, or external factors.
