Position Summary
In this role, you will lead and develop teams by effectively teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. Your responsibilities will include touring stores to provide constructive feedback (Tour-to-Teach), communicating and collaborating with associates at all levels regarding store operations, utilizing technology, and aligning with business initiatives, merchandising, and company objectives. You will introduce and manage company change efforts, set clear expectations, and guide the implementation of business solutions while effectively conveying business objectives to your teams.
You will exemplify exceptional customer service standards, adhering to the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Your leadership will extend to managing customer service initiatives—including store and community outreach programs—resolving customer needs, complaints, and issues efficiently, and developing action plans to address deficiencies. You will champion process improvements to ensure a superior customer experience.
Driving financial performance, you will analyze P&L statements, oversee budgeting, forecasting, and expense control within your designated area, ensuring alignment with sales indices. Your role also involves monitoring merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes, crafting action plans to mitigate shrinkage, and achieving sales and profit targets.
You will foster a culture of empowerment among hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring team members. Assigning duties and setting clear expectations will be key, alongside providing recognition and ensuring diversity and inclusion awareness in recruiting and developing qualified associates to meet staffing needs and support company growth.

Minimum Qualifications

For facilities involving firearms, a successful completion of a firearm-specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training is necessary. Relevant trainings and assessments will be mandatory for all associates.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership via Live Better U and Bellevue University, alongside a Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership from the same institutions. Experience supervising five or more direct reports, encompassing performance management, mentoring, hiring, and termination responsibilities, is also advantageous.
