Do you thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment where you can engage with cross-functional teams? As a VAS IBP Planner at our corporate headquarters, you will be responsible for developing production plans for our VAS operations, ensuring optimal inventory levels for finished goods while aligning with customer service goals. You will collaborate with various supply chain partners to address work-in-progress (WIP) and material bottlenecks. This role requires a strong sense of ownership, specifically tailored for the WK Kellogg Co organization.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Set the Pace: Develop production schedules for assigned Kellogg VAS facilities in the United States and Canada, as well as manage Canadian VAS packaging materials.
  • Fresh Thinking: Oversee production and inventory management to align with VAS operating objectives while fulfilling customers’ requirements on time and in full.
  • Take a New Angle: Communicate exceptions and collaborate with key stakeholders to review remediation plans and alternatives.
  • Tools for Success: Maintain planning system parameters, including safety stock location, economic production quantities, minimum run quantities, and line capacity.
  • Drive Efficiency: Monitor product age to minimize write-offs and implement corrective measures; conduct capacity analyses.
  • Collaborate to Win: Provide timely updates and analytical insights to supply chain partners to identify potential risks and operational opportunities.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Required:

  • Comprehensive understanding of supply/demand planning business drivers, organizational structures, and key performance metrics.
  • Proficiency with SAP or similar database applications.
  • High level of expertise in Microsoft Excel, Access, or related software.
  • Exceptional communication skills combined with advanced data manipulation capabilities in Microsoft Excel.
  • High School diploma/GED accompanied by significant relevant experience.

  • Bachelor’s Degree along with proven related work experience.

Salary Range: $80,100 – $105,300
