Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of this position is to take food and beverage orders and efficiently deliver them to guests in the dining room.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Warmly and promptly greet guests; efficiently take food and beverage orders following established service protocols.
• Deliver food in a timely and professional manner while adhering to safe food handling and sanitation standards. Regularly check in with guests to address any additional needs or requests.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu and its ingredients, providing guidance to guests on food and drink pairings, accommodating preferences and dietary requirements as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodate special requests.
• Exhibit outstanding communication skills and the ability to work harmoniously with others, demonstrating flexibility and patience when interacting with guests and colleagues.
• Handle cash transactions and ticket collection while following proper cash-handling procedures.
• Uphold a clean and safe dining environment for all guests.
• Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity regarding personal or medical information shared by guests.
• Proactively address guest complaints or issues, relaying important information or concerns to a supervisor as needed.
• Ensure the dining area is properly set up and cleaned before and after service, adhering to established sanitation standards.
• Operate various equipment, including fire extinguishers, telephones, tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
• Collaborate with staff from other departments to fulfill job duties during special events and functions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
