Shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Thursday, 3:30 PM until completion.
Pay Rate: $21.36 per hour (inclusive of shift differential).

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health:
The Operations team is responsible for materials handling and product distribution within a distribution or manufacturing environment. This includes warehousing, fulfillment, transportation, inventory management, as well as demand, supply, and manufacturing planning.
Job Summary:
The Associate II, Warehouse Operations assists with inbound or outbound activities as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, productivity, and operational standards. Responsibilities include receiving products in the inbound section and shipping products in the outbound section.
Qualifications:
– High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.
– Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
– Capacity to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the duration of the shift.
– Strong verbal and written communication skills.
– Comfort with working at heights of 20-30 feet on a regular basis.
– Previous experience with material handling equipment (powered industrial trucks) is preferred.
– Experience with radio frequency (RF) scanners and/or voice-to-pick systems is highly desirable.
– Flexibility to work overtime with minimal notice.
– Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate through various warehouse areas.
Responsibilities:
– Adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for order processing, which includes accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building and wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and preparing orders for shipment.
– Ability to follow directives and adapt to changing priorities, both independently and as part of a team.
– Pick large case items using material handling equipment or pick small units and place them on designated carts.
– Engage in cross-training in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as required.
– Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to check in and send out products.
– Operate material handling equipment as required by job duties. Equipment may include order pickers (cherry pickers), forklifts, reach trucks, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and walkie riders.
– Complete housekeeping and inventory control tasks while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
– Work on routine assignments that involve problem resolution.
– Participate in associate meetings and communicate any concerns to management.
– Comply with site safety regulations, including the use of required personal protective equipment such as steel-toed safety shoes and material handling equipment safety harnesses; be accountable to Cardinal Health’s EHS and QRA policies and procedures.
