Shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, & Friday from 3:30 PM until completion
Pay Rate: $21.36 per hour (including shift differential)

This encompasses warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, as well as transportation, inventory management, and demand, supply, and manufacturing planning.

Job Summary
The Associate II in Warehouse Operations supports Inbound or Outbound activities as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, productivity, and operational standards. This position involves receiving products in the Inbound section and shipping products in the Outbound section.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • Ability to consistently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfort with working at heights of 20-30 feet on a regular basis.
  • Prior experience with material handling equipment (PIT) is preferred.
  • Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) scanners and/or voice-picking systems is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to work overtime with minimal notice is required.
  • Openness to learning how to operate material handling equipment and to rotate through various areas of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for order processing, including accurately picking, conducting quality control checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building and wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and preparing orders for shipment.
  • Follow directions and adapt to changing priorities while working independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Use material handling equipment to pick large case items or select small units of measure, placing them on designated carts.
  • Engage in cross-training across multiple areas of the warehouse and participate in projects as needed.
  • Employ the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for checking in and/or dispatching products.
  • Operate material handling equipment as required, including order pickers (cherry pickers), forklifts, reach trucks, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and walkie riders.
  • Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Address routine assignments that necessitate problem resolution.
  • Participate in associate meetings and communicate any concerns to management.
  • Comply with site safety regulations, including the wearing of required personal protective equipment such as steel-toed safety shoes and safety harnesses for material handling equipment. Adhere to Cardinal Health’s Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Quality Risk Assessment (QRA) policies and procedures.
