As part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking dedicated and passionate Warehouse Associates with forklift experience. In this role, you will be responsible for general labor, warehouse maintenance, and the safe loading and unloading of parts using a pallet jack, hand truck, or forklift. You will also play a key role in providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients. Essential Job Duties:

  • Utilize a forklift, pallet jack, or other power equipment to load, unload, pick, put away, consolidate, stack, and stage products and materials.
  • Adhere to specific work instructions and best practices to safely and accurately complete daily assignments, while promptly recording indirect time.
  • Accurately document receipts in the appropriate forms or log books.
  • Ensure proper documentation is attached to all shipments.
  • Support operational processes and procedures to deliver customer value while complying with all company policies and federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts, while ensuring proper stock rotation.
  • Inspect pallets or cases for correct quantities, brands, and lot codes, and report any damage or discrepancies per provided special instructions.
  • Communicate any problems, concerns, or suggestions for process improvements to management.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area.
  • Contribute to the security of the warehouse and conduct operations with a focus on safety.
  • Participate in all assigned training programs and adhere to established guidelines.
  • Perform forklift duties and learn to containerize basic loads.
  • Foster and maintain exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Assist with various warehouse maintenance tasks, including cleaning floors and organizing equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Must possess knowledge and the ability to operate a forklift, with the capacity to meet medium level physical exertion requirements, including regularly lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
  • Basic math and reading proficiency are necessary for completing job tasks and paperwork.
  • Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions.
