Immediately hiring a Permanent Full-Time Warehouse Associate to support our facility at Ryder in Lockbourne, Ohio. Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• A minimum of six months of related warehouse experience is required; one year or more is preferred
• Proficiency in operating powered industrial trucks (e.g., stand-up and sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks) and ability to perform maintenance tasks such as battery changes and diagnosing common mechanical issues is necessary
• Experience with manual and/or automated warehouse manufacturing equipment (e.g., packaging lines) is preferred
• Powered industrial truck certification required
• Basic reading and mathematics skills in English for safety, work instructions, and policy comprehension
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Competency in inputting data into Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Ability to foster professional relationships at all organizational levels, including peers, workgroups, customers, and supervisors
• Capability to excel both independently and in team settings
• Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a self-driven approach to performance
• Strong organizational skills and effective time management

Responsibilities:

• Package, kit, and assemble orders and materials
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers, ensuring accuracy in scanning procedures
• Assist in training dock employees on new procedures
• Secure the facility at the end of shifts; address any scanning issues and maintain housekeeping
• Perform picking and packing duties, checking for evidence of product or container damage
• Execute assigned tasks in alignment with the location’s policies and procedural standards, including material handling within logical transactions
• Conduct material moves following required physical and logical transactions
• Participate in workgroup and team activities aimed at self-improvement and enhancing warehouse operations
• Maintain housekeeping duties for assigned areas, as well as any other responsibilities as assigned
