Role Overview:
Warehouse Operations plays a critical role at Cardinal Health by executing a variety of manual and automated tasks essential for the receipt, storage, and distribution of products. Responsibilities may encompass receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, and storage, ensuring the seamless flow of products from receipt from vendors to delivery to a diverse array of internal and external customers. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to support healthcare professionals in delivering quality care to their patients.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to established processes for order fulfillment, including precise picking of products, conducting quality control checks, packing items, and preparing orders for shipment.
  • Engage in cross-training across different areas of the warehouse, and actively participate in projects as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by performing housekeeping and inventory control tasks.
  • Demonstrate the willingness to train and obtain certification for operating material handling equipment, such as order pickers (cherry pickers), forklifts, reach trucks, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and walkie riders, as required by job functions.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Comfort with heights of 20-30 feet on a regular basis

  • Familiarity with technology, such as computers or point-of-sale systems, is an advantage
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
