Overview of Warehouse Operations: Warehouse Operations plays a critical role at Cardinal Health by executing a mixture of manual and automated tasks essential for the receipt, storage, and shipment of products. Responsibilities include receiving products, fulfilling orders, packaging, and ensuring timely shipment in accordance with established team goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to established processes for order fulfillment, which encompasses accurately picking products, conducting quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
  • Participate in cross-training across various areas of the warehouse and engage in projects as necessary.
  • Conduct housekeeping and inventory control tasks while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Show willingness to train and become certified to operate material handling equipment as required. Equipment includes order pickers (cherry pickers), forklifts, reach trucks, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and walkie riders.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Capable of bending, reaching, stooping, lifting, and standing for the duration of the shift.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with technology, such as computers or point-of-sale systems, is a plus.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
