Responsibilities:

Candidates should possess hands-on experience in webMethods Integration development and be adept in build and deployment to GCP utilizing DevOps practices. Proficiency with the Software AG product suite is essential, specifically in relation to webMethods Integration Server, Universal Messaging, Deployer, Command Central, Asset Build Environment, and wM Project Automator, as well as in Java services, XML, JSON, XPath, and XQuery.

Experience in the DevOps arena, including tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, is required. Familiarity with general DevOps tools including Jenkins, Git, and GitLab is also necessary. A working knowledge of Log4j, ELK, and Splunk is advantageous. Strong communication and analytical skills are imperative, along with the ability to function independently within a team environment.

Candidates are expected to have at least 5 years of experience in developing APIs (HTTP/HTTPS, REST, SOAP, Java microservices) and a minimum of 5 years of experience with DevOps concepts, including CI/CD processes and pipeline automation. Additionally, at least 3 years of experience working on cloud platforms such as GCP is required. While not mandatory, knowledge of DataPower is considered an asset.

The salary range for this position is between $110,000 and $125,000, contingent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications. This role is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and in accordance with the terms set forth in Cognizant’s applicable plans.
