Job Summary
This position requires open availability on both weekend days.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
– Provide a warm welcome to members, prospective members, and guests by delivering exceptional customer service.
– Manage all front desk activities, which include:
– Answering phones in a friendly manner and assisting callers with a variety of inquiries.
– Checking IDs and member barcodes into the system.
– Facilitating new member sign-ups.
– Conducting tours of the club for prospective members.
– Assisting with necessary updates to member accounts.
– Addressing member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Club Manager as necessary.
– Supporting the maintenance of the club’s neatness and cleanliness.
– Monitoring the safety of individuals and cleanliness throughout the club.
– Performing thorough cleaning and sanitization of restrooms, locker room areas, fitness equipment, and the gym floor.
– Ensuring locker rooms are stocked with appropriate supplies and paper products.
– Reporting any broken or missing amenities or equipment (such as toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment, etc.) to the Club Manager.
– Adhering to the “Lost and Found Policy” by promptly turning in lost member property to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager.

Qualifications/Requirements
– A background in customer service is preferred.
– Basic computer proficiency is necessary.
– A genuine passion for fitness and health is essential.
– An upbeat and positive attitude must be consistently maintained.
– Punctuality and reliability are critical for this role.
– Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers, exceeding members’ expectations.

– Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical Demands

– Cleaning with chemicals will be required during shifts.
