Required open availability on both weekend days.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
– Greet members, prospective members, and guests by providing exceptional customer service.
– Perform all front desk-related activities, including:
– Answering phones in a friendly manner and assisting callers with various inquiries.
– Checking ID and member barcodes into the system.
– Facilitating new member sign-ups.
– Conducting tours of the club for prospective members.
– Assisting with updates to member accounts as needed.
– Responding to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues to the Assistant Club Manager when necessary.
– Assisting in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
– Monitoring the club for the safety of individuals and overall cleanliness.
– Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, locker room areas, fitness equipment, and the gym floor.
– Stocking locker rooms with necessary supplies and paper products.
– Reporting any broken or missing amenities or equipment (such as toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, and gym equipment) to the Club Manager.
– Adhering to the “Lost and Found Policy” and promptly turning in lost member property to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager.
Qualifications/Requirements:
– Preferably possesses a background in customer service.
– Basic proficiency with computers is required.
– Demonstrates a passion for fitness and health.
– Maintains an upbeat and positive attitude at all times.
– Exhibits punctuality and reliability.
