THE JOB:
The Workforce Management Clerk plays a crucial role in enhancing the experience of our internal customers with respect to scheduling and time off. This position involves executing various administrative tasks through email, phone, and face-to-face interactions. The role encompasses collaboration with both staff and management within a supportive team environment.
THE STARTING RATE: $19.50
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Sort and prepare documents for scanning, carefully removing staples, paperclips, and rubber bands, as well as unfolding, straightening, and consolidating forms as needed.
- Index each employee record document within the Perceptive scanning system, ensuring all images are accurate, legible, and accounted for.
- Manage the organization and filing of documents slated for scanning.
- Organize documents and maintain retention data within the company’s system, ensuring compliance with destruction schedules.
- Provide constructive feedback to departments regarding adherence to the document retention program as per company policies.
- Foster, develop, and maintain effective communication and relationships with internal customers, ensuring their needs are identified and consistently met.
- Cultivate a collaborative relationship between the department, business unit, and other corporate departments to ensure streamlined operational processes.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in accounting, payroll, or auditing.
- Prior experience in a casino resort or Financial Shared Services Center setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in English communication, both oral and written.
- A proactive team player with a direct approach and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication skills, demonstrating a professional approach to resolving various situations.
- Initiative-driven, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Understanding of change management practices, including participation in the development of solutions that necessitate significant operational shifts.
