The Youth Residential Specialist is a crucial role within our client’s organization, dedicated to supporting young people experiencing homelessness. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a flexible approach, and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by homeless youth.Responsibilities & DutiesDirect Youth Support:Facilitate daily living skills, interpersonal skills, and recreational activities.Monitor youth activities to ensure compliance with individualized treatment plans.Provide crisis intervention support.Conduct intake interviews and orientations for new youth.Program Operations:Coordinate and monitor shift activities with mentors, volunteers, and interns.Maintain a safe and clean environment.Ensure compliance with program regulations, federal, state, and local laws.Transport youth to appointments and activities.Administer medication and first aid as needed.Maintain accurate and thorough records.Teamwork and Collaboration:Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet youth needs.Assist with front-desk operations and crisis calls.Comply with agency policies and procedures.Minimum QualificationsLived or professional experience working with homeless individuals.High School Diploma.1-2 years of experience in human or social services.Ability to pass a rigorous background check.Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.Hours:Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM: $16/hourSaturday and Sunday, 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM: $17/hourPay $16-17/hrApply now!
