Pay: $50000 per year

AI Pay Analysis: An annual salary of $50,000 for a Youth Specialist (Juvenile Correctional Officer) in Stark County, OH (Massillon) equates to approximately $24.04 per hour, which is somewhat competitive but may vary based on experience, qualifications, and specific duties associated with the role. On average, juvenile correctional officers in Ohio earn between $35,000 and $50,000 annually, depending on factors such as location, facility type, and experience level. Therefore, while $50,000 is at the higher end of the spectrum for similar positions in the region, it may not fully reflect the responsibilities and challenges associated with working with at-risk youth in a correctional environment. Overall, the salary appears reasonable but may benefit from consideration of additional compensation or benefits to attract and retain qualified candidates in a demanding role.
